The Birth of Ultraman - First in TV
Episode 00 - July 10 1966 This is the first time that Ultraman makes his appearance on Japanese TV and that the public (mostly kids in the audience) gets to see him. A special that ran on tv in japan the week before ultraman first aired in 1966!! a live action stage show, in black and white. with the actual actors from the series and the actual monsters running around on stage in front of a live audience! about 30 min long, it is like an introduction to ultraman for japan, mr tsuburaya is in the audience as well and comes up on stage. The dialog (and the singing) is all in Japanese, no subs. As this is early television, the video is in black-and-white.
